This role incorporates both language instruction and general education teaching, making a meaningful impact in students’ daily learning experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state certification in General Education and ESL endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with multilingual students in grades K-12 is beneficial
• Strong classroom management and lesson adaptation skills
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborative approach to working alongside other educators and support staff

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging English language instruction tailored to English Learners within general education settings
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote academic and language growth
• Support students individually and in groups, adapting to diverse English proficiency levels
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback and maintaining required records
• Work closely with general education teachers to modify curriculum and instructional strategies
• Engage with families to support student achievement and advocate for language learners
• Foster a positive classroom culture where all students feel valued and supported
